Privacy Policy
How Bido TV collects, uses and protects your personal data — and the rights you can exercise at any time, free of charge.
Last updated 23 October 2026 · Governed by the laws of England & Wales
1. Who we are
Bido TV operates the streaming service and the website at iptvuk.click (together, the “Service”). For the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Bido TV is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at email@iptvuk.click or on WhatsApp at +33 6 44 65 07 83. Our registered business address is available on request by email.
2. The data we collect
We try to collect as little as possible while still being able to run the Service, take payment and keep it secure.
| Category | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Account and subscription | Name, email address, country, chosen plan, order reference, subscription status and the devices registered to your account. |
| Payment | Billing name and country, the last four digits of the payment method, and the status of each transaction. Full card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are never stored on our servers. |
| Technical | IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, timestamps and error logs. |
| Support | The content of messages you send us, the contact details you use, and the history of the request. |
| Usage | Sign-in times, streaming sessions, the number of concurrent devices, and playback errors used for diagnostics. |
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Under the UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for each purpose. The table below sets out what we rely on.
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the Service, managing your account and delivering streams | Performance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) |
| Processing payments, issuing refunds and keeping tax records | Performance of a contract and legal obligation — Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) |
| Preventing fraud, credential sharing, abuse and unauthorised resale | Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f), protecting the Service and honest customers |
| Securing the site, diagnosing faults and improving reliability | Legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) |
| Replying to enquiries, complaints and refund requests | Performance of a contract or legitimate interests |
| Sending marketing about similar services to existing customers | Soft opt-in under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, with an opt-out in every message |
| Sending marketing to new contacts | Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Non-essential cookies | Consent — see our Cookie Policy |
We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile you for advertising.
4. How long we keep it
| Record | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Account and subscription records | While your subscription is active, then 12 months |
| Invoices and payment records | 6 years from the end of the relevant financial year, as required by UK tax law |
| Support conversations | 24 months from the last contact |
| Security and access logs | 90 days |
| Marketing consent records | Until you withdraw consent, plus 12 months as evidence of your choice |
When a retention period ends we delete the data or anonymise it so that it can no longer be linked to you.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and never sell it. Recipients fall into these categories:
- Hosting, CDN and caching providers that serve the website and video delivery infrastructure.
- Payment processors and fraud-prevention providers that handle transactions and chargeback checks.
- Email delivery and support tooling used to answer your messages.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary and under confidentiality.
- Courts, regulators and law enforcement where we are legally required to disclose.
Every processor acts only on our documented instructions and is bound by a contract that includes appropriate security terms. Some providers are located outside the UK. Where that happens we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a UK adequacy regulation.
Some streams are delivered through third-party infrastructure, which means those providers will see your IP address as part of delivering the content to you.
6. Your rights
You have the following rights over your personal data, and exercising them is free of charge:
- Access — a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification — correction of anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — deletion where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it.
- Restriction — a pause on processing while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — a machine-readable copy of data you gave us, where processing is based on contract or consent.
- Objection — including an absolute right to stop direct marketing at any time.
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
To exercise any of these, email email@iptvuk.click. We respond within one month. If a request is genuinely complex we may extend that by up to two further months, and we will tell you why before the first month expires. We may need to confirm you control the email address on the account before we disclose anything, which protects you against impersonation.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
7. Security
We protect your data with TLS in transit, encryption at rest where the provider supports it, hashed passwords, least-privilege access for staff, and monitoring for unusual account activity. No online service can promise absolute security, but if a breach is likely to affect your rights we will notify you and the ICO within 72 hours where the law requires it.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 or over. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we discover that a minor holds an account we will close it and refund any unused subscription time.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies that are necessary to run the site. Our Cookie Policy lists them and explains how to control them.
10. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change or the law requires it, and the date at the top always shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights we will tell you by email or with a clear notice on the site at least 14 days before it takes effect.
11. Contact
Questions, requests or complaints about privacy should go to email@iptvuk.click. We aim to reply within two working days.
